About Wendy

Informed by a fine arts background and an “of the moment” spirit for life, I create narratives that are both artistically sophisticated and remarkably candid. I work to remain personable, flexible and professional, striving to put those around me at ease. Remaining constantly aware and as unobtrusive as possible, allows me to witness the laughter, the sentiment, the fun and capture moments that few others notice; a few quiet moments of reflection, an unexpected tear, a stolen embrace.

Each wedding is so unique and it is my great honor to photograph it in a way that truly reflects and supports your best memories of the day. I spend time learning as much as I can from you before hand so that on your day, you can trust that I will catch not only the most important people and physical details of the wedding day; the flowers, the favors, the feast, but the emotional ones as well.

To support a greater photojournalistic style, I shoot with professional Nikon digital equipment alternating between grand, all-encompassing wide-angle shots and tight selectively focused details. I tailor my eye to each event bringing out the unique personality of the day. In putting together your prints from the day, I consider each image and decide when brilliant color or timeless black & white will best serve the image.
